Originally from Mexico City, Victor Vera has made his home in Puerto Vallarta Since 1997. The son a prominent Mexican politician, Victor comes by his ability to meet challenges naturally. A dedicate professional, Victor holds several degrees including one in Business Administration from the Hispanic-American University and a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) by Cambridge University, from the Moderno Tepeyac College in Mexico City.
Mastering Computer Systems and Sales Management, Victor worked as an administrator at PROGRAME GP & ASOCIADOS, a well known Mexico City condo management company, where he was in charge of the administration of several of their more important projects.
Working as Sales and Information Manager for GRUPO IMSA and TELEVSA, Victor developed his affinity for architecture and design. In the early 1990’s this lead him to TECNODESARROLLO, S.C., a development company owned by Ing. Rodolfo Felix Valdes, the former Communication and Transportation Minister and Governor of the State of Sonora. At Tecnodesarrollo, S.C., Victor worked with Autocad software contributing to the development and design of the remodeling of the National Autonomic University of Mexico (UNAM).
Victor studied music extensively and has performed in bands at popular venues in Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta. Since 1997 Victor has been the lead singer as well as band leader of “The Gecko Band”. His band has played at many of the finer hotels and events along the Bay of Banderas. Currently he stills performing once in a while in different events and places in Puerto Vallarta, such as Paradise Burger, formerly Cheeseburger in Paradise, which was his band’s house for over 6 years.
Bringing his diverse knowledge and service to the real estate arena, Victor Vera teamed up with Sales Achievement Award Winner, Marla Hoover, and they together worked successfully for over 4 years (Marla Hoover is also an international journalist with over 300 published articles from Guadalajara – www.guadalajarareporter.com -, Mexico to San Diego, California and Seattle, Washington. She was also one of the editors of “The Peninsula Gateway” newspaper while it was recipient of “The Best Small Town Newspaper” in the USA.
